The rest of the delegates to the Polynesia Leaders Group Summit finally arrived in Tuvalu on Tuesday, 26 June 2018. In all there were 9 Polynesian countries who were represented at this meeting.

After they were being met by government liaison officers at the airport, the delegates were escorted to the Vaiaku Falekaupule for the formal welcome ceremony.
In te Falekaupule, government dignitaries were already present including His Excellency, the Governor General and his wife, the Hon Prime Minister and his wife, the Speaker of the House of Parliament, Cabinet Ministers, Miss Tuvalu, EKT President and the Funafuti Island Community’s dancing group and others.
